Hadith 669:18
Abu Dawud narrated to us, Umar ibn Abi Za’idah narrated to us, ‘Awn ibn Abi Juhayfah narrated to me, from his father, who said: "I saw a red tent made of tanned leather belonging to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. And I saw Bilal come out with ablution water to pour it, and the people rushed toward it. Whoever obtained some of it wiped himself with it, and whoever did not find any of it took from the moisture of his companion’s hand. And I saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, come out in a red garment, with his lower garments tucked up. And I saw Bilal bring out a short spear, and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prayed facing it, while animals and people passed behind it."
حدثنا أبو داود، حدثنا عمر بن أبي زائدة، حدثني عون بن أبي جحيفة، عن أبيه قال: " رأيت قبة حمراء من أدم لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ورأيت بلالا خرج بوضوء ليصبه فابتدره الناس، فمن أخذ منه شيئا تمسح به، ومن لم يجد منه شيئا أخذ من بلل يد صاحبه، ورأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، خرج في حلة حمراء مشمرا، ورأيت بلالا أخرج عنزة، فصلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، إليها يمر من ورائها الدواب والناس "
