Hadith of Abu Kabshah al-Anmari (RA)

Hadith 596:5

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Mas'udi informed us, from Isma'il ibn Awsat, from Muhammad ibn Abi Kabshah al-Anmari, from his father, who said: When it was the expedition of Tabuk, the people hastened toward the people of al-Hijr, entering upon them. That reached the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, so he called out to the people: "The prayer is a gathering." He said: So I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, while he was holding his camel, and he was saying: "Why do you enter upon a people whom Allah has become angry with?" A man among them called out to him: "We are amazed by them, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Shall I not inform you of something more amazing than that? A man from among yourselves who informs you of what was before you and what will be after you. So remain upright and be steadfast, for Allah does not care at all about your punishment. And there will come a people who will not defend themselves against anything."

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
