Musnad Ahmad 1015:8

Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to us, Hatim ibn Hurayth narrated to me, from Malik ibn Abi Maryam, who said: We were sitting with Rabi'ah al-Jurashi, and we were discussing *al-tila'* (a type of thickened wine) during the caliphate of al-Dahhak ibn Qays. While we were thus engaged, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanam, a companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him), entered upon us. We said, "Mention *al-tila'*," and we discussed *al-tila'*. Zayd ibn al-Hubab said: Meaning, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanam, the companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him), said: "Abu Malik al-Ash'ari narrated to me that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: 'People from my nation will surely drink wine, calling it by a name other than its own.' And the one who narrated it to me is more truthful than I and you, and the one who narrated it to him is more truthful than he, I, and you." He said: "By Allah, besides whom there is no god, I heard it from Abu Malik al-Ash'ari, who heard it from the Prophet (peace be upon him)." He repeated it to him three times. Al-Dahhak said: "Woe to it as a drink at the end of time."
