Musnad Ahmad 480:1

'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Amr narrated to us, he said: Zuhayr—meaning Ibn Muhammad—narrated to us, from 'Abdullah—meaning Ibn Muhammad ibn 'Aqil—from 'Ata' ibn Yasar, from Abu Malik al-Ashja'i, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said: "The greatest of misappropriation (ghulul) in the sight of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, is a cubit of land. You find two men who are neighbors in land or in a house, and one of them cuts off a cubit from his companion's share. If he cuts it off, he will be encircled with it from seven earths until the Day of Resurrection."
