Musnad Ahmad 457:16

Yahya ibn Zakariya ibn Abi Za'idah narrated to us, my father narrated to me, from 'Amir, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, set out with his uncle al-'Abbas to the seventy of the Ansar at al-'Aqabah under the tree. He said: "Let your speaker speak, and let him not prolong the sermon, for there is a spy upon you from the polytheists, and if they learn of you, they will expose you." Their speaker, who was Abu Umamah, said: "Ask, O Muhammad, for your Lord whatever you wish, then ask for yourself and your companions whatever you wish, then inform us what reward we have from Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, and from you, if we do that?" He said: "I ask you for my Lord, the Almighty and Majestic, that you worship Him and do not associate anything with Him. And I ask you for myself and my companions that you shelter us, support us, and protect us from that which you protect yourselves from." They said: "What is ours if we do that?" He said: "For you is Paradise." They said: "Then that is yours."
