Hadith 457:20
'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: 'Adi ibn Thabit informed me, he said: I heard 'Abdullah ibn Yazid narrating from Abu Mas'ud. I said: From the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace? He said: From the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, he said: "Indeed, when a Muslim spends an expenditure upon his family while he is seeking its reward, it is for him a charity."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا شعبة، قال: عدي بن ثابت، أخبرني، قال: سمعت عبد الله بن يزيد، يحدث عن أبي مسعود، قلت: عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قال: عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إن المسلم إذا أنفق على أهله نفقة وهو يحتسبها، كانت له صدقة "
