Hadith 457:39
Isma'il and Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, [who said]: Isma'il informed us, from Qays, from Abu Mas'ud, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Indeed, the sun and the moon do not suffer an eclipse for the death of anyone — Yazid said: nor for his life — but they are two signs from the signs of Allah the Exalted. So when you see them, then pray."
حدثنا إسماعيل، ويزيد بن هارون، أخبرنا إسماعيل، عن قيس، عن أبي مسعود، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إن الشمس والقمر لا ينكسفان لموت أحد - قال يزيد - ولا لحياته، ولكنهما آيتان من آيات الله تعالى، فإذا رأيتموهما فصلوا "
