Musnad Ahmad 980:6

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Isma'il narrated to us, Qays ibn Abi Hazim narrated to me, from Abu Mas'ud 'Uqbah ibn 'Amr, who said: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "I lag behind in the morning prayer because of such-and-such person, due to how long he makes it for us." I have never seen the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, more angry in an exhortation than he was on that day. He said: "O people, indeed among you are those who drive people away. So whoever among you leads the people in prayer, let him be brief; for among them are the weak, the elderly, and those with needs."
