Hadith of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (RA)
Hadith 788:103
Waki’ narrated to us, al-Mas’udi narrated to us, from ‘Amr ibn Murrah, from Abu ‘Ubaydah, from Abu Musa, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah the Almighty does not sleep, and it is not befitting for Him to sleep. He lowers the scale and raises it. His veil is the Fire; if He were to uncover it, the splendors of His Face would burn everything that His sight reaches." Then Abu ‘Ubaydah recited: "It was called out: 'Blessed is whoever is in the fire and whoever is around it, and exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds.'" [An-Naml: 8]
