Musnad Ahmad 788:124

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, Thabit informed us, from the one who heard Hattan ibn 'Abdullah al-Raqashi say: Abu Musa said: I said to a companion of mine, "Come, let us make this day of ours for Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, as if we had witnessed the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)." He said: "And among them is he who says, 'Come, let us make this day of ours for Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.'" He continued repeating it until I wished that I would sink into the earth.
