Hadith of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (RA)
Hadith 788:142
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Al-A'mash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from Sahm ibn Minjab, from Al-Qartha' who said: When Abu Musa al-Ash'ari became severely ill, his wife wailed. He said to her, "Do you not know what the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said?" She said, "Yes." Then she remained silent. When he died, it was said to her, "What did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say?" She said, "He said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, cursed the one who shaves (her hair in grief), the one who tears (her garment in grief), and the one who raises her voice (in wailing).'"
