'Affan narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, 'Asim al-Ahwal narrated to us, from Abu Kabshah, who said: I heard Abu Musa saying upon the pulpit: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The likeness of the righteous companion is like the likeness of the perfume seller; if he does not give you [any], you will still be scented by his fragrance. And the likeness of the evil companion is like the likeness of the blacksmith’s bellows."
