Musnad Ahmad 788:213

Waki’ narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, from Sa’id ibn Abi Burdah, from his father, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, sent Mu’adh and Abu Musa to Yemen and said: "Give glad tidings and do not drive (people) away, make things easy and do not make them difficult, and agree with one another and do not differ." He said: Each one of them had a tent in which he would stay, and one of them would visit the other. Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman said: I think it is from Abu Musa.
