'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Jahadah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Tharwan, from Huzayl ibn Shurahbil, from Abu Musa, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, before the Hour, there will be tribulations like pieces of the dark night. A man will wake up in them a believer and go to sleep a disbeliever, and he will go to sleep a believer and wake up a disbeliever. The one sitting during them is better than the one standing, and the one standing during them is better than the one walking, and the one walking during them is better than the one running. So break your bows, cut your bowstrings, and strike your swords against stones. If one of you is entered upon in his house, then let him be like the better of the two sons of Adam."
