'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, he said: Abu Qudamah al-Harith ibn 'Ubayd al-Iyadi narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Imran—meaning al-Jawni—narrated to us, from Abu Bakr ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Qays, from his father, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The gardens of Firdaws are four: two of gold, their ornaments, their vessels, and what is within them; and two of silver, their vessels, their ornaments, and what is within them. And there is nothing between the people and their looking at their Lord, the Almighty and Majestic, except the mantle of pride upon His Face in the Garden of 'Adn. And these rivers gush forth from the Garden of 'Adn, then they branch out after that into rivers."
