حديث أبي موسى الأشعري

Hadith 788:30

Husayn ibn Ali narrated to us, from Ja’far ibn Burqan, from Thabit ibn al-Hajjaj, from Abu Burdah, from Abu Musa, who said: Two men disputed before the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, regarding a piece of land, one of whom was from the people of Hadhramaut. He (the Prophet) assigned the oath to one of them. The other man cried out and said, "He will take my land!" He (the Prophet) said, "If he seizes it by his oath unjustly, he will be among those whom Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will not look at on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, and for him is a painful punishment." He said: The other man became cautious and returned it.

حدثنا حسين بن علي، عن جعفر بن برقان، عن ثابت بن الحجاج، عن أبي بردة، عن أبي موسى قال: اختصم رجلان إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في أرض أحدهما من أهل حضرموت، قال: فجعل يمين أحدهما ، قال: فضج الآخر، وقال: إنه إذا يذهب بأرضي. فقال: " إن هو اقتطعها بيمينه ظلما، كان ممن لا ينظر الله عز وجل إليه يوم القيامة، ولا يزكيه، وله عذاب أليم " قال: وورع الآخر فردها
