Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Thabit—meaning Ibn 'Amarah—from Ghunaym, from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "If a woman perfumes herself and goes out among the people so that they may perceive her scent, then she is such and such."
