Musnad Ahmad 1007:114

Uthman ibn Umar narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi’b informed us, from Sa’id al-Maqburi, from Abdullah ibn Abi Qatadah, from Abu Qatadah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution, then prayed in the land of Sa’d at the base of al-Harrah near the houses of as-Suqya. Then he said: "O Allah, indeed Ibrahim is Your Khalil (intimate friend), Your servant, and Your prophet, and he supplicated to You for the people of Makkah. And I am Muhammad, Your servant, Your prophet, and Your messenger, and I supplicate to You for the people of Madinah, similar to what Ibrahim supplicated to You for the people of Makkah. We supplicate to You to bless them in their sa’ (measure), their mudd (measure), and their fruits. O Allah, make Madinah beloved to us as You made Makkah beloved to us, and place what is in it of epidemic in Khumm. O Allah, I have indeed declared sacred what is between its two lava fields, just as You declared the Haram sacred upon the tongue of Ibrahim."
