Musnad Ahmad 1007:12

Sufyan narrated to us, Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abi Talha narrated to us, the wife of Abdullah bin Abi Talha narrated to me, that Abu Qatada used to tilt the vessel for the cat, so it would drink. And he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) narrated to us: 'Indeed, it is not impure; it is among those who go around among you, the males and the females.'"
