Musnad Ahmad 1007:38

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Qatadah, from his father, that he witnessed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying over a deceased person, and I heard him saying: "O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our present and our absent, our young and our old, and our male and our female." Yahya said: Abu Salamah added in it: "O Allah, whoever among us You keep alive, keep him alive upon Islam, and whoever among us You cause to die, cause him to die upon faith."
