Yunus and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: ‘Affan said in his narration: Abu Ja‘far al-Khatmi informed us, from Muhammad ibn Ka‘b al-Qurazi, from Abu Qatadah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Whoever relieves his debtor or wipes [the debt] away from him, he shall be in the shade of the Throne on the Day of Resurrection."
