Hadith 1228:2
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Malik, who said: Zayd ibn Aslam narrated to me, from 'Ata' ibn Yasar, from Abu Rafi', that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, borrowed a young camel from a man. Then, camels from the camels of charity came to him. He said: "Give him [his camel]." They said: "We do not find anything for him except a four-year-old camel of excellent quality." He said: "Give it to him, for the best of people are those who are the best in repayment."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد، عن مالك قال: حدثني زيد بن أسلم، عن عطاء بن يسار، عن أبي رافع، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم استسلف من رجل بكرا، فأتته إبل من إبل الصدقة فقال: " أعطوه "، فقالوا: لا نجد له إلا رباعيا خيارا، قال: " أعطوه، فإن خيار الناس أحسنهم قضاء "
