Hadith 1111:16
'Abd al-Rahman and Abu Kamil narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Rafi', from his paternal aunt, from Abu Rafi': That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, went around to all of his wives in one day, and he performed ghusl (a ritual bath) after each one of them. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, would you not make it one single ghusl?" He said: "This is purer, cleaner, and better."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن، وأبو كامل، قالا: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة، عن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن أبي رافع، عن عمته، عن أبي رافع: أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم طاف على نسائه جمع في يوم واحد، واغتسل عند كل واحدة منهن غسلا، فقلت: يا رسول الله، ألا تجعله غسلا واحدا؟ فقال: " إن هذا أزكى وأطهر وأطيب "
