Hadith 1111:17
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibrahim ibn Maysarah, from 'Amr ibn al-Sharid, that Sa'd bargained with Abu Rafi', or Abu Rafi' bargained with Sa'd. Abu Rafi' said: "Were it not that I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'The neighbor is more entitled to his proximity (saqab),' I would not have given it to you." 'Abd al-Razzaq said in his narration: "And the saqab is the proximity."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن حدثنا سفيان، عن إبراهيم بن ميسرة، عن عمرو بن الشريد، أن سعدا، ساوم أبا رافع أو أبو رافع ساوم سعدا، فقال أبو رافع: لولا أني سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " الجار أحق بسقبه " ما أعطيتك قال عبد الرزاق في حديثه: " والسقب القرب "
