Musnad Ahmad 289:11

Bahz narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: Ya'la ibn 'Ata' informed us, from Waki' ibn Hudus, from his paternal uncle Abu Razin al-'Uqayli, that he said: "O Messenger of Allah, does every one of us see his Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, on the Day of Resurrection? And what is the sign of that in His creation?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Does not every one of you look at the moon, being alone with it?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then Allah is greater." He said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, how does Allah bring the dead to life? And what is the sign of that in His creation?" He said: "Have you not passed by a valley of your people that was barren?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Have you not passed by it shaking with greenery?" He said: I said: "Yes." He said: "Then you passed by it barren?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Thus does Allah bring the dead to life, and that is His sign in His creation."
