Hadith 896:1
Bahz narrated to us, Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, Humayd ibn Hilal narrated to us, he said: Abu Rifa’ah said: I arrived at the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was delivering a sermon. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, a stranger man has come to ask about his religion; he does not know what his religion is." He said: "So he turned toward me, and a chair was brought, and he sat upon it. He began to teach me from what Allah the Exalted had taught him." He said: "Then he returned to his sermon and completed the rest of it."
حدثنا بهز، حدثنا سليمان بن المغيرة، حدثنا حميد بن هلال، قال: قال أبو رفاعة: انتهيت إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو يخطب، فقلت: يا رسول الله، رجل غريب جاء يسأل عن دينه، لا يدري ما دينه، قال: " فأقبل إلي، فأتى بكرسي، فقعد عليه، فجعل يعلمني مما علمه الله تعالى، قال: ثم أتى خطبته فأتم آخرها "
