Hadith of Abu Rimthah al-Tamimi, and it is said al-Taymi
حديث أبي رمثة التميمي ويقال التيمي
Hadith 490:6
'Abdullah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Bakkar—who is Ibn al-Rayyan—narrated to us, Qays ibn al-Rabi' al-Asadi narrated to us, from Iyad ibn Laqit, from Abu Rimthah, who said: "I went out with my father while I was a young boy, and we came to a man in the midday heat, sitting in the shade of a house, wearing two green garments. His hair was abundant (wufrah), and upon his head was a trace of henna." He said: My father said to me, "Do you know who this is?" I said, "No." He said, "This is the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." Then he mentioned the rest of the hadith.
حدثنا عبد الله ، حدثنا محمد بن بكار هو ابن الريان، حدثنا قيس بن الربيع الأسدي، عن إياد بن لقيط، عن أبي رمثة، قال: " انطلقت مع أبي وأنا غلام، فأتينا رجلا في الهاجرة جالسا في ظل بيت عليه بردان أخضران، وشعره وفرة، وبرأسه ردع من حناء "، قال: فقال لي أبي: أتدري من هذا؟ فقلت: لا. قال: هذا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فذكره
