Hadith of Abu Shuraih al-Khuza'i al-Ka'bi from the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 1226:7

Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, he said: Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Maqburi informed me, from Abu Shurayh al-Adawi of Khuza'ah—and he was one of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them—from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Hospitality is three [days], and its prize is a day and a night. It is not lawful for anyone to stay with his brother until he causes him to sin." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, how does he cause him to sin?" He said: "He stays with him while he has nothing to provide for him."
