Hadith of Abu Umamah al-Bahili, Suddiyy ibn ‘Ajlan ibn ‘Amr, and it is said: Ibn Wahb al-Bahili, from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث أبي أمامة الباهلي الصدي بن عجلان بن عمرو ويقال: ابن وهب الباهلي، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 962:109
Al-Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Abu Bakr—meaning Ibn Ayyash—narrated to us, from Layth, from Ibn Sabit, from Abu Umamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not pray at the rising of the sun, for it rises between the two horns of a devil, and every disbeliever prostrates to it. And do not pray at its setting, for it sets between the two horns of a devil, and every disbeliever prostrates to it. And do not pray at midday, for it is at the time when Hell is stoked."
حدثنا الأسود بن عامر، حدثنا أبو بكر يعني ابن عياش، عن ليث، عن ابن سابط، عن أبي أمامة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا تصلوا عند طلوع الشمس؛ فإنها تطلع بين قرني شيطان، ويسجد لها كل كافر، ولا عند غروبها؛ فإنها تغرب بين قرني شيطان، ويسجد لها كل كافر ولا نصف النهار؛ فإنه عند سجر جهنم "
