Hadith of Abu Umamah al-Bahili, Suddiyy ibn ‘Ajlan ibn ‘Amr, and it is said: Ibn Wahb al-Bahili, from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث أبي أمامة الباهلي الصدي بن عجلان بن عمرو ويقال: ابن وهب الباهلي، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 962:114
Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far narrated to us, from Khalid ibn Abi Imran, from al-Qasim, from Abu Umamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever intercedes for someone with an intercession, and he (the interceded for) offers him a gift, and he accepts it, then he has approached a great gate of usury (riba)."
حدثنا حسن، حدثنا ابن لهيعة، حدثنا عبيد الله بن أبي جعفر، عن خالد بن أبي عمران، عن القاسم، عن أبي أمامة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من شفع لأحد شفاعة، فأهدى له هدية فقبلها، فقد أتى بابا عظيما من الربا "
