Hadith 962:116

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abu Umamah al-Humsi, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, wudu (ablution) expiates what came before it, then the prayer becomes a supererogatory act." He said: So it was said to him, "Did you hear it from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" He said: "Yes, not once, nor twice, nor three times, nor four times, nor five times."
