Musnad Ahmad 962:119

Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Mu'awiyah—meaning Ibn Salih—from 'Amir ibn Jushayb, from Khalid ibn Ma'dan, who said: We attended a meal for 'Abd al-A'la ibn Hilal. When we finished the food, Abu Umamah stood up and said: "I have stood in this position of mine, and I am not a public speaker, nor do I intend to give a speech. However, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say upon the completion of food: 'Praise be to Allah, much, good, and blessed praise, [praise that is] neither sufficient, nor abandoned, nor can it be dispensed with.'" He said: He kept repeating them to us until we memorized them.
