Hadith of Abu Umamah al-Bahili, Suddiyy ibn ‘Ajlan ibn ‘Amr, and it is said: Ibn Wahb al-Bahili, from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث أبي أمامة الباهلي الصدي بن عجلان بن عمرو ويقال: ابن وهب الباهلي، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 962:122
Abu Kamil narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Abu Ghalib, who said: I heard Abu Umamah narrating from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, regarding the saying of the Almighty, the Majestic: "As for those in whose hearts is deviation, they follow that which is unspecific of it" [Al-Imran: 7]. He said: They are the Khawarij. And regarding His saying: "On the Day [when] some faces will become white and some faces will become black" [Al-Imran: 106]. He said: They are the Khawarij.
حدثنا أبو كامل، حدثنا حماد، عن أبي غالب قال: سمعت أبا أمامة يحدث، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في قوله عز وجل: " {فأما الذين في قلوبهم زيغ فيتبعون ما تشابه منه} [آل عمران: 7] قال: هم الخوارج، وفي قوله: {يوم تبيض وجوه وتسود وجوه} [آل عمران: 106] قال: هم الخوارج "
