Hadith of Abu Umamah al-Bahili, Suddiyy ibn ‘Ajlan ibn ‘Amr, and it is said: Ibn Wahb al-Bahili, from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث أبي أمامة الباهلي الصدي بن عجلان بن عمرو ويقال: ابن وهب الباهلي، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 962:125
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Faraj narrated to us, Luqman narrated to us, from Abu Umamah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the killing of the house-dwellers (snakes), except for those that have two white lines (on their backs) and the short-tailed one; for they indeed blind the eyes and cause women to miscarry."
حدثنا أبو النضر، حدثنا فرج، حدثنا لقمان، عن أبي أمامة قال: " نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن قتل عوامر البيوت إلا ما كان من ذي الطفيتين والأبتر؛ فإنهما يكمهان الأبصار وتخدج منهن النساء "
