Musnad Ahmad 962:149

Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, al-Awza'i narrated to us, Abu 'Ammar Shaddad narrated to me, Abu Umamah narrated to me, that a man came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have incurred a hadd (prescribed punishment), so execute it upon me." He turned away from him. Then he said to him: "I have incurred a hadd, so execute it upon me." He turned away from him. Then he said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have incurred a hadd, so execute it upon me." He turned away from him. Then the prayer was established. When the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, finished the prayer, he stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have incurred a hadd, so execute it upon me." He said: "Did you perform wudu when you came?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Did you pray with us when we prayed?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Go, for Allah has pardoned you."
