Musnad Ahmad 962:21

Abdullah said: I found this hadith in my father’s book in his own handwriting, and he had crossed it out. I thought he had crossed it out because it was an error, and that it is actually from Zayd, from Abu Sallam, from Abu Umamah. Abdur-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma’mar informed us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Umamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Learn the Quran, for it is an intercessor on the Day of Resurrection. Learn Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran; learn the two radiant ones (al-zahrawayn), for they will come on the Day of Resurrection as if they are two clouds, or two shades, or as if they are two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for their companion. Learn Al-Baqarah, for learning it is a blessing, abandoning it is a regret, and the sorcerers (al-batalah) cannot withstand it."
