Hadith of Abu Umamah al-Bahili, Suddiyy ibn ‘Ajlan ibn ‘Amr, and it is said: Ibn Wahb al-Bahili, from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث أبي أمامة الباهلي الصدي بن عجلان بن عمرو ويقال: ابن وهب الباهلي، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 962:33
Waki’ narrated to us, Khallad as-Saffar narrated to us, he heard it from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn Zahr, from ‘Ali ibn Yazid, from al-Qasim ibn ‘Abd ar-Rahman, from Abu Umamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is not lawful to sell singing women, nor to buy them, nor to trade in them, and the consumption of their prices is haram."
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا خلاد الصفار، سمعه من عبيد الله بن زحر، عن علي بن يزيد، عن القاسم بن عبد الرحمن، عن أبي أمامة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا يحل بيع المغنيات ولا شراؤهن ولا تجارة فيهن، وأكل أثمانهن حرام "
