Hadith of Abu Umamah al-Bahili, Suddiyy ibn ‘Ajlan ibn ‘Amr, and it is said: Ibn Wahb al-Bahili, from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث أبي أمامة الباهلي الصدي بن عجلان بن عمرو ويقال: ابن وهب الباهلي، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 962:34
Waki’ narrated to us, he said: I heard al-A’mash say: It was narrated to me from Abu Umamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The believer may be disposed to all traits, except for treachery and lying."
حدثنا وكيع قال: سمعت الأعمش قال: حدثت عن أبي أمامة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " يطبع المؤمن على الخلال كلها إلا الخيانة والكذب "
