Hadith of Abu Umamah al-Bahili, Suddiyy ibn ‘Ajlan ibn ‘Amr, and it is said: Ibn Wahb al-Bahili, from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث أبي أمامة الباهلي الصدي بن عجلان بن عمرو ويقال: ابن وهب الباهلي، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 962:38
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Sa‘id ibn Abi ‘Arubah informed us, from Qatadah, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abu Umamah al-Humsi, who said: A man from the People of the Bench (Ahl al-Suffah) died, and a dinar was found in his waist-wrapper. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A branding." He said: Then another died, and two dinars were found in his waist-wrapper. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Two brandings."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، أخبرنا سعيد بن أبي عروبة، عن قتادة، عن شهر بن حوشب، عن أبي أمامة الحمصي قال: توفي رجل من أهل الصفة فوجد في مئزره دينار، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " كية ". قال: ثم توفي آخر فوجد في مئزره ديناران. فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " كيتان "
