Musnad Ahmad 962:54

Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Abdullah narrated to us, Yahya ibn Ayyub informed us, Ubaydullah ibn Zahr narrated to us, from Ali ibn Yazid, from al-Qasim, from Abu Umamah, from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: And he narrated to us with this chain of narration from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: "My Lord presented to me that He would make the valley of Makkah gold for me. I said: 'No, O my Lord, but let me be full one day and hungry one day,' or something similar to that. 'So when I am hungry, I humble myself before You and remember You, and when I am full, I praise You and thank You.'"
