Hadith 901:1
Bahz and Abu Kamil narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Abu Imran—meaning al-Jawni—from Abu Usayb, or Abu Usaym. Bahz said: He witnessed the prayer over the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. They said: "How should we pray over him?" He said: "Enter in groups, one after another." He said: "So they would enter through this door and pray over him, then they would exit through the other door." He said: "When he was placed in his grave, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, al-Mughirah said: 'Something of his feet remains that you have not set right.' They said: 'Then enter and set it right.' So he entered and put his hand in and touched his feet. Then he said: 'Pour the soil over me.' So they poured the soil over him until it reached the middle of his shins, then he exited. And he used to say: 'I am the one who had the most recent contact with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.'"
حدثنا بهز، وأبو كامل، قالا: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة، عن أبي عمران يعني الجوني، عن أبي عسيب، أو أبي عسيم، قال بهز: إنه شهد الصلاة على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قالوا: كيف نصلي عليه؟ قال: " ادخلوا أرسالا أرسالا "، قال: " فكانوا يدخلون من هذا الباب فيصلون عليه، ثم يخرجون من الباب الآخر "، قال: " فلما وضع في لحده صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال المغيرة: قد بقي من رجليه شيء لم يصلحوه، قالوا: فادخل فأصلحه، فدخل، وأدخل يده فمس قدميه، فقال: أهيلوا علي التراب، فأهالوا عليه التراب، حتى بلغ أنصاف ساقيه، ثم خرج، فكان يقول أنا أحدثكم عهدا برسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم "
