Hadith of Abu Usayd al-Sa’idi (RA)

Hadith 266:13

Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Zubayri narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Ghasil narrated to us, from Hamza ibn Abi Usayd, from his father, and Abbas ibn Sahl, from his father, they both said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, passed by us along with some of his companions. We went out with him until we set off toward a garden called al-Shawt, until we reached two gardens among them, and we sat between them. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Sit." He entered, and the al-Jawniyya had been brought and isolated in the house of Umayma bint al-Nu'man ibn Sharahil, and with her was a nursemaid of hers. When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon her, he said: "Grant yourself to me." She said: "Does a queen grant herself to a commoner?" She said: "I seek refuge in Allah from you." He said: "You have sought refuge in a refuge." Then he came out to us and said: "O Abu Usayd, clothe her in two Razqi garments and send her back to her family." He said: And someone other than Abu Ahmad said: A woman from Banu al-Jawn called Amina.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
