Narrated to us by Abu al-Mughirah, who said: Narrated to us by Safwan, who said: Narrated to us by Shurayh ibn Ubayd, from Abu Waqid al-Laythi, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whatever is cut off from an animal while it is alive, then it is carrion."
