Narrated to us by Yazid, who said: Narrated to us by Muhammad ibn Amr, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Zayd al-Ansari, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in the dawn prayer, then he ascended the pulpit and addressed us until the time of the noon prayer arrived. Then he descended and prayed. Then he ascended the pulpit and addressed us until the time of the afternoon prayer arrived. Then he descended and prayed. Then he ascended the pulpit and addressed us until the sun set. He informed us of what had happened and what is to happen. So the most knowledgeable among us is the one who memorized it best.
