Hadith 598:3
Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, 'Abd al-Hamid ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Abi Habib narrated to me, from Marthad ibn 'Abd Allah al-Yazani, that Daylam informed them: That he asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we are in a cold land, and we drink a beverage by which we gain strength." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him: "Does it intoxicate?" He said: "Yes." He said: Then he repeated the question to him. He said: "Does it intoxicate?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then do not go near it." He said: "But they will not be patient without it." He said: "Whoever will not be patient without it, then kill him."
حدثنا أبو بكر الحنفي، حدثنا عبد الحميد بن جعفر، قال: حدثني يزيد بن أبي حبيب، عن مرثد بن عبد الله اليزني، أن ديلما أخبرهم: أنه سأل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: يا رسول الله، إنا بأرض باردة، وإنا نشرب شرابا نتقوى به، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " هل يسكر؟ " قال: نعم، قال: ثم أعاد عليه المسألة، قال: " هل يسكر؟ " قال: نعم، قال: " فلا تقربوه " قال: فإنهم لن يصبروا عنه ، قال: " فمن لم يصبر عنه فاقتلوه "
