Musnad Ahmad 774:6

Yahya narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Simak narrated to us, from Murri ibn Qatari, from 'Adi ibn Hatim, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, my father used to uphold family ties, host the guest, and do such and such." He said, "Your father wanted something, and he attained it." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I shoot game and I do not find anything to slaughter it with except a flint stone or a stick." He said, "Cause the blood to flow with whatever you wish, then mention the name of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic." I said, "There is food that I do not leave except out of caution." He said, "Whatever you do not resemble Christianity in, do not leave it."
