Hadith 627:4
Waki' narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from 'Abd al-'Aziz—meaning Ibn Rufay'—from Tamim ibn Tarfah, from 'Adi ibn Hatim, that a man gave a sermon in the presence of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has been rightly guided, and whoever disobeys them both has gone astray." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "You are a bad speaker. Say: 'And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger.'"
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا سفيان، عن عبد العزيز يعني ابن رفيع، عن تميم بن طرفة، عن عدي بن حاتم، أن رجلا خطب عند النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: من يطع الله ورسوله، فقد رشد، ومن يعصهما، فقد غوى. فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " بئس الخطيب أنت، قل ومن يعص الله ورسوله " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
