Hadith 852:9
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Shu'bah, who said: I heard Abu Shamir al-Dab'i, who said: I heard 'A'idh ibn 'Amr—I said to Yahya ibn Sa'id: "The Muzani?" He said: "Yes"—that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade the *hantam* (green glazed jars), the *duba'* (gourds), the *naqir* (hollowed-out logs), and the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessels).
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد، عن شعبة، قال: سمعت أبا شمر الضبعي، قال: سمعت عائذ بن عمرو، قلت ليحيى بن سعيد: المزني؟ قال: نعم "، إن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " نهى عن الحنتم، والدباء، والنقير، والمزفت "
