Musnad Ahmad 21:11

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Sufyan, 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr narrated to me, 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith narrated to us, al-'Abbas narrated to us, he said: I said to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "What have you availed your uncle? For he used to protect you and become angry for your sake." He said: "He is in a shallow part of the Fire, and were it not for me, he would have been in the lowest depth of the Fire."
