It was narrated to us by Waki’, from Sufyan, from Habib ibn Abi Amrah, from ‘Aishah bint Talhah, from ‘Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "O ‘Aishah, if you wish to join me, then let the provision of the world for you be like the provision of a traveler. And beware of sitting with the wealthy, and do not consider a garment worn out until you have patched it."
